In this introductory course to the use of 3DMacro, it is possible to learn the latest modeling concepts in the area of masonry structures, and on the other hand to understand how the software is used to simplify and systematize the complex non-linear modeling processes in the context of seismic simulation of masonry and/or reinforced concrete structures.

To introduce trainees to the 3DMacro program, and provide an introductory but consistent overview of the theoretical and practical aspects of seismic modeling of masonry structures.

To enable them to develop the process of modeling a masonry building structure and to analyze the obtained results.

Discuss and exemplify aspects of the integration and modeling of reinforced concrete structures with masonry structures.

Professionals, teachers or university students who, due to the nature of their work in the field of Structural Engineering, have to calculate, model or design masonry structures.
